Closets, pantries, built-ins, and floating shelves, built to fit. For homes and rentals in Vancouver, Battle Ground, Camas, and across Clark County.
Store-bought shelving is made for an average closet. These are cut to the actual opening, anchored into studs, and finished to match the room, so they hold what you put on them and look like they came with the house.

Planning shelving & closet systems
Wire shelving or wood?
Wire is inexpensive and quick, but things tip through it and it never looks finished. Wood or painted shelving costs more, holds more, and looks built in. Existing wire shelving can be pulled out and the holes patched.
Can you build shelves into my existing closet?
Yes. The closet gets measured wall to wall, and the towers, shelves, and rods are built to that opening instead of to a standard size, so there are no gaps at the ends.
How much weight will the shelves hold?
It depends on the span and how they're anchored. Shelves fastened into studs, with supports close enough together that the boards don't sag, hold far more than shelves hung on drywall anchors. Pantry and garage shelves get extra support.
Do floating shelves actually hold up?
With a hidden bracket fastened into studs, yes. They're good for books, dishes, and decor. Very deep floating shelves, or ones on a wall without studs where they need to go, are better on visible brackets.
Do you do garage storage?
Yes. Heavy-duty shelving built into the garage wall, sized to the bins and boxes you actually have.
How is shelving priced?
A single shelf or a closet rod is billed as a $95 trip fee, then $75 an hour. Closet systems, pantries, and built-ins get a written quote after measuring, so you know the number before work starts.
When does shelving need an on-site assessment?
Heavy loads, long spans, damaged walls, uncertain backing, or a layout near utilities need assessment before supports are selected. Share what the shelves will hold as well as their dimensions. Structural changes or electrical and plumbing alterations may require a specialist or licensed trade outside the shelving scope.
